There is no "meal with no drinks." Food is $12, it comes with access to fountain drinks and to a little salad bar. If you're on a meal plan, it's one swipe.
Good food and good portions for a really low cost. The atmosphere is nice and the drinks are unlimited, which is always a plus
College comfort food at Liberty University! From a chicken wrap to Buffalo Chicken Mac 'n Cheese and quite a few other offerings. For about $12 a drink and salad come with the meal; not gourmet and not a large selection, but great before a game in the beautiful Williams Stadium or anywhere else on campus. It's about a 10-minute walk to the stadium.
While the hours and location is excellent, Doc's Diner is completely lacking in vegetarian and vegan options. Every time I have visited here in the past week, they have been out of stock of their only vegan option and making substitutes is a hassle. I wish this place was better because I live in a nearby dorm, but this place just isn't good anymore. However, the salad/chip bar is as excellent as always.
The food is pretty good but sometimes takes a while to get food
Doc's has really improved over the last couple years. The service is better and faster, the food is better, and it's just a better experience (I will say that I haven't been there during their busy hours, though). I'd say they are usually a four or five star (for a campus dining facility) dependent on the food. Usually there's not much issue, but occasionally I'll notice that the food isn't exactly what I ordered or it's not fresh (eg. Chicken strips/mozzarella sticks should not be stale). Other than those times, though, definitely a good place to eat.
We wanted to eat here and got here at noon. It is closed. No sign saying why but locked up tight. There was a hotel door key apparatus so maybe it's members only. Who knows.
They never disappoint the food is excellent and they have the sweetest employees and the students that are there dining in are so friendly and nice. Love it
Good, affordable, home-style food! Comfortable, college atmosphere.
The food isn't necessarily bad but its not great. As a student I can get the food through my dining plan, however if anyone were not a student it would cost around $11 for and entree! The food is definitely not worth $11!
Food is almost always disappointing, but at least its convenient.
Not very clean. Lots of staff standing around. Unfortunately loojs like a great place on the outside but was not inside. Floor was so dirty and tables were sticky. No clean silverware and nosh bar looked like it was nit replenished in a timely fashion.
More or less a standard college restaurant - mostly used by students, but can provide a quick bite if need be
Great diner! The only reason I am still alive. I can finally say Docs saved me
Closest dining location to my dorm and pretty good food in general. Best food is the curly fries
Filthy atmosphere and conditions, as well as slow and sloppy cooking with unflavorful food
If you have a student meal plan, Doc's is a great place to visit. The atmosphere is good and it's a nice change of pace from the dining hall. Visitors to campus might enjoy the atmosphere or the excitement of "eating college food," but there are better food options at the restaurants off-campus.
